Core objective:

To facilitate engineering alumni in reconnecting with UTS and their peers, while instilling a sense of pride in the UTS Engineering practice-based philosophy.

Background

A number of Engineering alumni that started during the 90´s, have recognised the need to better communicate and maintain active contact with other alumni and develop personal and professional networks.

This group also sees the value in practice-based learning philosophy and believe in contributing to help future and young engineers in finding out its benefits.

21st June - Wrap Up and Report of Welcome Function

It's been a while but finally we've got round to posting a report on the event: it was HUGE! But seriously:

The UTS Chancellery was host to yet another successful event welcoming over 200 new graduates and existing alumni to the Engineering Alumni Network.

Dean of Engineering, Professor Archie Johnston, and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ross Milbourne joined the celebration and offered words of congratulations to the new alumni.

This is the second New Graduates Welcoming event organised by the Engineering Alumni Network, and given the success, will become a regular event in the alumni event calendar.

Here are some photos of the event from our official photographer: Alex Green.
